Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Robbery
You give money to someone to hold. Ask for it back and they say it was stolen. You know they are lying and grab their purse to get your money - a scuffle occurs. You grab what you think is your money, but it was the wrong pile. The girl calls you on the cell telling you she will swap your money for hers (which means she was lying). Can you be charged with robbery or should you be charged with robbery?

Re: Robbery
You can be charged with robbery. In that situation I don't think self-help is a legal option.
