Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

what should i do

last september, my boyfriend was visiting his uncle. he went out to get the uncle something to eat. he stopped by a bar to talk to someone he knew. this older guy who was drunk came out of the bar and was yelling at shawn. shawn is my boyfriend by the way. shawn was mad cause when he stopped someone was messing with his bike. the older guy was yelling and belly bumping and spitting alcohol in shawns face. he told the guy 3 times to back off. he wasnt backing off so after the third time he pushed the guy away. since he was drunk, he tripped over a curb and supposidly hit his head. now like an hour later, shawn was jumped. they went after him with baseball bats. i think the police reports got mixed up and they might think that shawn beat the older man up or something. which all he did was push someone. the cops came and told the older guy to press charges. he did. they picked shawn up in february. hes already been sentenced and he has a gag hearing coming up. i talked to his parole officer and he wants to give shawn an additional 6 months on top of the 9 months he is already serving. he says shawn needs to be punished for violating parole. since hes been in jail no one has heard his side of the story. the reason i am wri

It sounds to me like the older guy was a cop or knew the cops. That really sucks. There's not much you can do except hire a good attorney to represent him at the Gagnon Hearing(s).
