Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
My son is has been incarcerated for 13 months in Lackawanna county. He is being charged with possession with intent to sell ( the attorney told me that the drugs were not considered enough to sell) he was also charged with conspiracy to sell ( the co defendant said in open court and under oath that there wasn't any conspiring to sell anything . It's hard for me to communicate with his attorney. I've been reading up on nominal bail---- is this something his attorney should be asking for?

In 13 months why hasn't this been brought to trial. He's probably done more time then if he had been convicted. What is the hold up.
