I was very cooperative with the police. my husband on the other hand was not he was a little mouthy, because they were blaming us for the disruption on the street we had nothing to do with it and they sent , my husband, myself and my son a disorderly conduct citation in the mail. we are not guilty would we need a lawyer to plead not guilty and go to a hearing

You are likely unfamiliar with the legal definitions of disorderly conduct, and thus how to defend the charges. An attorney will know how to cross examine the police on this. I practice statewide. Where are you located? Email me with any questions.
An attorney would definitely be useful. It shouldn't cost a fortune either.
Depending on what area you are in, I would be glad to help you or refer you to someone closer to you.
