Each State has its own laws on marijuana, and most States still have laws that consider it a crime to possess marijuana, even for medical reasons. S if you are carrying marijuana for "medical reasons" and have a medical card from the State in which you bought the marijuana, you can still be arrested for possession if you travel to a State that does not permit possession of marijuana, even for medical reasons. You are putting yourself in a dangerous position by traveling with marijuana , even with a medical card, in States that have not yet legalized marijuana, even for medical reasons.
