Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Statute of limitations...

Chapter 55 of Title 42 (Subchapter C - 5552) in the PA code states that as a general rule, the statute of limitations on crimes in Pa is 2 years, with the exception of ''major offenses'' such as theft, robbery, aggravated assault, etc..., as having five year limitations. Does this mean that all grades (misdemeanor / felony) of these ''major crimes'' carry a five year statute of limitation? Most states have different levels of time limitations on prosecutions regarding felonies and misdemeanors, I'm wondering is PA the same? Example: What is the statute of limitation on first class misdemeanor theft in PA?
