Statute of limitations for fraud

i have just found out that i was the victom of someone stole checks fom a check book that i hadnt used yet and wrote checks totaling 10000 plus. i was wondering what the statutee of limitations was on this. it happend in jan 2005 however i just realized it when i found the missing checks. before recently i had never paid attention to my bank statements because i never worried about having enough money...but now i do.

You should discuss this matter with an attorneys at your earliest convenience. In regards to your question....2 years in order for the DA to file criminal charges.
