Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Statute of Limitations?
How long to the police or the DAs office have to press charges after an incident occurs? If they are called out to a domestic situation, and they leave without arresting anyone or issuing any citations, can they still press charges? If so, for how long after?

Re: Statute of Limitations?
For most crimes the statute of limitations is 2 years. There are some exceptions like homicide and child molestation but in general its 2 years.
