Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

statute of limitations

I have outstanding warrants for ''public drunkenness'', ''criminal mischief'' and ''disorderly conduct''. They date back to 2000. How long will these warrants remain?

Re: statute of limitations

Forever if you don't do anything or until you're detained or stopped by the police and then you will be arrested and housed in the county jail for free until your hearing date. Retain an attorney before this becomes any worse.

Re: statute of limitations

Until you are caught.

There is no statute of limitations on outstanding warrants.

My suggestion is that you take affirmative steps to clear up these issues sooner rather than later.

It is better to deal with them and move as opposed to getting picked-up at an inopportune time.
