Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
statute of limitations on perjury in PA
What is the statute of limitations in Pennsylvania for persons that have committed perjury? Does the statute time period run from the date(s) the perjury was committed?
The party knowingly gave false testimony against me in court. As a result I spent six years in jail. Now the false ''witness'' claims intention to tell the truth but has concerns about possible repercussions.
Is this person still liable to perjury charges or has the statute tolled absolving them from prosecution for admitted perjury six years ago?
