Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Statute of limitations for rape
Could you please tell me what the statute of limitations are for statutory rape. The girl was only 13 and the man was 25. A child resulted from this relationship. I am sure the time limits are over but I was inquiring due to this gentleman has much contact with other girls and do not want to see him able to hurt them. For some reason the authorities overlooked the whole scenario when everything happened and I did not know if anything could happen now. I know laws vary from state to state. Proving the case would be no difficulty due to the child.

The statute of limitations would expire the day of the girls 23rd birthday.
