Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

stealing on the job

I am 19 years old. I am going to court for stealing while working at Target. The first time I have ever done this. I paid restitution. My court date is Oct. 3. I have no lawyer. What can I do to keep this from being put on my permanent record?
