Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

stolen credit cards

someone who owed me money agreed to pay my cell phone bills as repayment. I believe they are being paid with stolen credit cards. I just found out yesterday. What should I do?

Re: stolen credit cards

The problem is that you could get charged with receiving stolen property. It would be defensible but the cost of hiring an attorney to defend would likely be a whole lot more than the cell phone bill. You should probably tell the police of your suspicion and let them decide whether or not they want to do anything about it. You just want to get something on record to protect yourself.
