Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Stolen money
I live in PA. Arrested for public drunkenness. Taken into custody knowing full well I had $83 in my wallet at time of arrest. When released, only $3 remained. Jail seems to be dancing around me. Told me the report said I only had a handful of CHANGE. Why was there 3 one dollar bills left? I know its not grand theft, but I want to know WHO took that money. Filed a complaint and currently waiting. Any legal action?

Good luck but I think you can kiss that $80.00 good-bye.
