Store Theft

my question is i went in the store with my boyfriend step sister and she asked me to pick up some baby clothes for her, i but them in the cart. on our way out of the store the security ask to take the bag out of the cart. i don't recall taking the bag up. but she said i did but the bag was not mind and none of the stuff in the bag was man. i got arrest instead of the other girl and i would like to know is that legal and is there a law that says if i touch the bag first then it's i take the blame. and is there anything i can do

I'm not sure of what you are asking. Were you charged? If so, you will need an attorney to explore all of your possible defenses including your defense that you had the wrong cart or that somebody else placed the bag in your cart.
