Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Summary Charges and wrongful persecution
I went to a criminal trial on some bad checks back in November. There was one misdemeanor charge and three summary charges. The judge ordered no further prosecution on summary charges then. Yesterday I talked to a constable saying there is a warrant out for my arrest on the checks covered in the summary charges. Can I be prosecuted and arrested for those checks?

i am not sure that i understand your question, so feel free to email me at [email protected] if this answer doesn't help. If the checks are the same checks from the first and second prosecution, you cannot be prosecuted a second time. it would be double jeopardy under a case called Campana.
