Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

I have a summary offence trial coming up for a underage possession of alcohol charge in my dorm which was not mine and i have an RA report that shows that I wasn't even in the room at the time. I'm just wondering if I can get a public defender for a summary trial or whether I should just represent myself and state my case ?
