Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

superior court bail request

My fiance is in currently in prison charged with burglary, harrassment and stalking. Our attorney did not present a defense as he said he would which i believe led to his conviction. the judge sentenced him to a total of 24-80 months. We have now hired a new attorney who is appealing to the superior court. He is first appealing for a bail hearing to have him released pending his appeal. How often does the superior court actually agree to this and can the judge deny the bail even if the superior court has ordered him a bail hearing?

Re: superior court bail request

I'm not very familiar with bail hearings pending appeal. Perhaps someone else here can answer this. I imagine that there is not much hope but as with all cases, that depends on the facts.
