Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
theft of personal property
What recourse do I have if, while I was at work, someone I shared an apartment with for 3 years, moved out, taking everything, including my own personal property (computer, college books, guitar) with them?

You can file a civil action against them to recover the value of your property. There are usually a lot of problems of proof with suits of this nature.
