Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Threatening vs Nonthreatening Email

I called and emailed MADD back in November and they are construing the contact as threatening. Here's the emails and Madd's response (which I did not reply too). Their reply comes first-

Mr. xxxx:

I did call you and you choose not to call me back. I am sorry for your loss but your tragedy and DUI arrest all was a result of personal choices. You choose to drink and drive and unfortunately, your girlfriend choose to abort her baby. That was a drastic step and most unfortunate but with communication, I am sure you two would have been able to work things out. MADD takes NO responsibility for the choices your both made.

Initial Email

Due to your draconian laws, I will be seeking 1 million dollars in econometric damages. Additionally, as I notified the national chapter, due to my arrest, loss of license, and subsequent house arrest, my girlfriend decided that our pregnancy did not come at an adequate time and she therefore had an abortion. As I have hurt no one, and you have killed a baby, justice will be coming. The true nature of justice is an eye for an eye.

How many more deaths will it take before you stop the destruction of our society?

Who will stop you?

end

Re: Threatening vs Nonthreatening Email

So, exactly what is happening? Are you being charged with a criminal offense? If so, what is that criminal offense?

If you are being charged with terroristic threats, I would agree with you that your email probably isn't a terroristic threat.

You don't indicate where you are located. If you wish to email me about your case, please feel free to do so.
