Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Trespassing
This currently has not happened yet, but I am checking upon my rights. In a friendly rivalry between two local swim teams, we have a swim meet coming up soon. Normally, senior members of each team decorate the signs and fence areas of the opposing teams. Now, from what I heard, if our team does it to the opposing team, they might want to press charges. Now, since there is no sign posted ''Private Property'' or ''Private Club'' and since it is actually not within the pool grounds, i.e. within the fenced area, what would there case be if no vandalism would actually occur. For instance, decorating consists of: streamers, balloons, and putting cups in the fence spelling out our team name. Is that considered vandalism, do they have the grounds to press charges, and what would some of the penalties be?

no lawyer in his right mind would counsel you on how to commit a crime. maybe some Enron lawyers would be interested.
