Re: truck
I'm not sure of the situation in which you would want to destroy your own truck. If you are still making payments on it and a creditor holds a security interest, you could get in a lot of trouble. If you are going through a divorce and you want to deprive your spouse of the value of the truck in a settlement or if you want to claim insurance money on the truck you could also get into a lot of trouble. At any rate, for it to be perfectly legal, it would have to be paid off, have no insurance claim made, and done only with the consent of the co-owner.
