Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Underage Citation
I'm 17. A few months ago my friends and i were pulled over after coming home from a party ''because her tailpipe was rusty'' then he immediately asked for breathalizers. the driver blew a 0(didnt get an underage) and the other girls blew high numbers(got underages). i admitted to literally one SIP(true). i was never told my bac. when i asked the one officer at the scene, he asked the other one and i overheard him say, ''she didn't really blow over, but i could smell it on her''. i sent in my not guilty plea and i have court next week. i'm wondering what are some good points that can be used? I appreciate any information :)

Re: Underage Citation
You should definitely contact an attorney.

What part of you have the right to remain silent don't you understand. You admitted to a crime. The policeman will be allowed to testify as to what you told him. It is one of of the many exceptions to the hearsay rule.
Now the crime you admitted to is not a major offense. Still its an offense that has some significant consequences. It might be time to talk to your parents about getting legal counsel.
