Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Underage drinking citation

I was coming out of a party a couple of weeks ago with some of my friends. Two of my guy friends started to fight. Next thing a policeman grabs my arm and says to come over to his car. Four policemen decide to question me and one talks to my friends, including the two that were fighting. Without any proof of possession except for a bunch of cups on the back porch of this house and no breathalyzer test they cited me anyway. My other three friends were not given anything and sent on their way. My social security number is also incorrect on the citation. Wondering what to do?

Re: Underage drinking citation

You should talk to a private attorney as soon as possible. This sounds like a defensible case, and taking an underage drinking on your record will follow you around forever. Give our offices a call 267.639.3105.

Re: Underage drinking citation

If what you're saying is true, you have defenses to the underage drinking charge. However, you didn't say what you told the police...if you made an admission to the police, that's the reason you're being charged.

You should speak with an attorney. You didn't put your zip code in your response, but if you're in Western PA and want to email me about this, feel free.
