Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Unlawful Arrest

what should I do? My two sons were being shot at and while trying to get away, they hit a witnesses car. The witness called the police to report the hit to their car. The police misunderstood what the witness said and arrested my sons for the shooting. The witness gave me a signed statement that my sons were not shooting it was the car chasing them that was. He also said he would testify or come in if needed. Currently one of my sons is being held and the other has a warrant for this issue but has not turned himself in. This is an injustice and I really need advice.

Re: Unlawful Arrest

The witness needs to go to your son's hearing. Your other son needs to turn himself in. If you know where he is, you could be charged if you don't tell police where he is.

Re: Unlawful Arrest

You should talk to an attorney right away. The prosecution is not likely to drop a case once charges have been filed. Plus, you need a separate attorney for each son. Feel free to call our offices to discuss if you like.
