Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Valid or Invalid
There is a type written letter stating on it a ''conditional offer'' saying defendant would drop right to sue civil or criminal against ofc. if he dropped all charges, addresed to an officer with no threats made on it and with no signature on it either. is this valid evidence or even constitute intimidation of witness? Isn't this a plea bargain just not coming from a lawyer though?

While non-lawyers can and do many things in the legal system you must remember it is a profession which is governed by itself and is not designed to be easy access by the non-professional. Obviously the wording of the letter and the context of delivery could turn a simple offer to settle into intimidation.
