Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Vandalism

I was in a store parking lot & hit a guys door with my car door when getting into my car. He proceeded to kick my car twice and then throw liquid on my vehicle. He admitted to the police that he threw liquid on my vehicle, but of course did not admit to kicking it. The store has survelliance cameras. How can I go about looking at these tapes. I spoke to the officer who was on the scene & he said he would check them out. I'm not real convinced that he will do this. Is there a way I can see the tapes.

Not that I know of absent cooperation from the store unless someone is charged with an offense. This sounds to me like one of those things you should let go because it doesn't sound like there is visible damage to either vehicle.
