Verbal Abuse involving a minor

My Five year old daughter had been subjected to an individual who swore and made racial slurs against her recently. Are there any laws pertaining to this? The individual was an adult, and the incident happened in a public place.

civil assault, criminal assault, disorderly conduct, ethnic intimidation. call a cop or else file a private criminal complaint to effect criminal justice. if u know the person's identity, take him to the district justice's court.
