Re: violation

you should contact the po immediately and attempt to see them today. eventually, the po will put out 'wanted cards' for you and list you as an absconder. when you are arrested on this you will sit in jail until the judge brings you in to see them, unless it is in philly, then you could get out sooner. in any event, contact your po immediately, be very nice and have a good explanation.

Re: violation

My advice to to contact your probation officer IMMEDIATELY, take responsibility for your failure to do what you were supposed to do, and promise to redouble your efforts to comply with the rules and regulations of probation.

Probation, to put it very bluntly, sucks. But, it is much better than the alternative - jail. It is important to act quickly or else "wanted cards" will be put out for your arrest. You will have to account for a technical violation before your back judge, who has the power to impose a new sentence.

At this point, I don't think you need an attorney. Until your P.O. goes to the judge, this is still between he or she and you. Good luck, and again, please call right away to protect yourself.
