Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

Violence

My son's father assaulted me while I was on the corner. I was holding our 1 year son in my arm at the time. He drove by me first, got out of the car, got back in the car and started threatening me. He told me that he would kill me if he went to jail. He then drove back to where I was, got out of the car and tried pulling my son out of my arms. He then punched with a closed fist. I have presses charges on him and a warrant has been issued. I really wanted to know what types of charges he would be facing. I know that PA has a stalking and harrassment charge; would that apply? Also isn't hitting me while I'm holding a child child endangerment? My other son who is 6 was also standing there watching. I just want to know the charges. Also I still have the bloody shirt & jacket; should I have given it to the police? One officer did see me with it on. Thank you

Re: Violence

He could face up to aggravated assualt which is a felony, but more likely with a single closed fist blow smple assualt is the more likely charge. Depending on his prior record he could get probation up to a maximum 2 1/2 years to five. You may wish to obtain a protection from abuse order until the criminal case is resolved.
