My husband was arrested two weeks ago, when I called I was told that he was charged with a bech warrant, how long can they keep him. He illegaly dumped garbage three years ago and failled to appear in court. Now this came back to haunt him. How long can they keep him without setting bail or letting him go?

Until the court schedules a new hearing date, which may take several weeks, or can you retain counsel to request a bail hearing which could be done in less than a week, depending on what county you are in....you need to retain legal counsel as soon as possible!

A preliminary hearing and setting of bail bond should occur. Contact me for representation against the charges made. J. Holthaus (410) 750-2567

The Court can keep your husband in jail, for failing to appear in Court, until a new trial date has been set. A bail hearing should be requested, if not already done so. You should contact a competent criminal trial lawyer, like myself, for representation on both the failure to appear, and the illegal dumping carges.
