Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Over the last weekend I was charged with disorderly conduct for excessive noise and public intoxication. These are summary offenses in pa, but i see they may carry up to 90 days in prison per charge. I was driving a boat prior to the police arriving and they said gave me the public intoxication because they did not see me drive the boat, and therefore could not give me a DUI. This is my first offense and Im concerned over the possibilty of jail. Should this be a concern or is it likely I will only be ordered to pay a fine. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Jail is unlikely unless you act like a jerk to the judge.
