Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
I am so sorry. The following will be me freaking out over an irrational fear and asking you a long and stupid because you know law. I am very sorry, but I need to hear some assurance.
Without going into too much detail, I got on an anonymous site and pretended to be an older woman, to fool perverts. I never exchanged any photos or information or anything. However, while pretending, I may have gotten carried away and started talking to a minor in a pretty sexual conversation. Like I said, I made no effort to contact him, or show him anything. And I'm not actually an adult woman, just a teenager, though I never stated that. Also, while pretending, I kind of listed off fake fantasies that involved younger minors (I got really carried away). This was just me being stupid on an anonymous site, but I'm worried it was an undercover officer posing as a 16 year old boy. If no attempt to make contact or show anything was made by me, then am I safe? I'm never going to do this again, but I'm freaking out.

There is a chance that you were speaking to an officer. There is also the chance that you were speaking with a teenage boy. If it was an officer, they will obtain your IP address from your internet provider and contact you. If your question is, can you be charged with a crime, the best answer I can give you is "possibly." I think the police would have to be creative though because you are not an adult.
My suggestion is that if the police contact you, you would want to have a lawyer with you when you talk to them. Also, it is probably best to tell your parents, especially if the police come around asking questions. They could potentially think it is an adult male in your house doing this and question them.
You did not say where this happened in your question and I would need to know the county that you are located in to know if I can help you with this matter.
Good luck
