Witness Travel Reimbursement
My son is being asked by DA to testify in Pennsylvania case where the radio was stolen from his care. He is one of 13 victims. Radio has been returned by police. He is currently working in California as a co-op student. Is DA required to cover travel costs and lost wages?

The DA should cover travel costs, including lodging, but is not responsible for lost wages. Further, your son should not have to be reimbursed after going out of pocket - the DA should provide pre-paid airline tickets and a hotel room.
