Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Should I be worried?
This past Friday night I came to a stop sign facing another vehicle. I wanted to turn left and had my turn signal on and eventually blinked my lights to have the other driver proceed. They didn't so to avoid any accident I went straight. When I passed the car it was a policeman. I drove up to the next stop sign. The policeman zoomed around the corner (right) in front of my g/f's. So at my s/s I turned right and went up the street and turned right again and down the alley and parked across from my g/f's. I went in her house and then eventually the policeman came down the alley shining his spotlight. He never had his warning lights on. I didn't come out and he soon left but I'm sure he knows who I am. It's been 4 days and I haven't heard anything but I'm worried he might accuse me of fleeing but he never had his lights on or followed me. I'm very worried. Should I be? Can something come in the mail?

Re: Should I be worried?
Probably not but that's just a guess. Remember in order to cite you the cop is going to have to say you committed some offense and from what you are describing, you were merely trying to be courteous.
Of course if you had ten beers before you saw the cop and went 60 mph down the street and ran the second stop sign turned into an alley screeched to a halt and went running into your girlfriend's house, that's a bit different.
