wrongful conviction?

my husband is awaiting his sentencing for a crime he didn't commit. the cop lied on the stand about my nephew's police report. he changed it to whatever my nephew said on the stand at the trial.? my nephew also couldn't remember anything about the incendent. we had evidence stating that my nephew has made other molesting allegations against his mother's ex-husband, it was supposably investigated by i really don't think they did there job on that one? so now that my nephew said my husband molested him (supposably)? i know that he didn't do this they had no evidence but my nephew's testimony. the cop never came to investigate him or anything? to make things worst my son came to me after my husband was accused of molesting my nephew, my son told me that nite that my nephew said that my husband molested him , my son said that my nephew actually touched him and my son threw him out of his room(my nephew threatned my son and said that if he tells anyone that he woul;d hurt my son's family) then my nephew at some pont apoligized to my son and said he was sorry for what he did? i called the cops and they said there was nothing they could do? so then i called children and youth they said they would investigate it but never did? can u hel

Re: wrongful conviction?

You need an attorney local to your county to file an appeal. If you can't afford an attorney you should get in touch with the Public Defender's Office as soon as possible because time limits are crucial and this is the time of year when they are frequently missed.
