Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania

my x-husband had a hearing where the DA office offered him a plea deal for rape of a yound girl when she just turned 16 yrs old and he was 32yrs old (several different charges) a 5-10 years, he didn't have to show up, he was in jail anyways but his lawyer rejected the plea deal & the trial is in a few months from now...

My question, the DA's office offered the plea deal because they have the evidence to prove that my x-husband raped that young girl & he will be found guilty and sentenced to more jail time, like 15-20 yrs???

There's no way to tell that. Often the DA will offer a plea to avoid a trial even if they have the evidence, but often they will try to bluff...offer the plea because they don't have the evidence. He and his attorney have to evaluate the case and determine the odds and make a decision to either take the plea or roll the dice. He could get more time, or he could be found not guilty and walk away.
