Legal Question in Criminal Law in Pennsylvania
Two years ago Mr Jones was my dad's divorce lawyer. My dad just got sued for a large sum of money by Mr Smith.
Mr. Smith wants to hire lawyer Jones. Is this legal?? Is it ethical?

It could be if your father consents to let Jones represent Mr. Smith. If your father doesn't consent then Jones is conflicted out.
