Can you be criminally charged just for yelling at someone else's kids?

The answer depends on what you say to the kid. If you were to threaten them, "i am going to kill you," you could be charged. Otherwise, you could be charged but probably not convicted. Good Luck. Feel free to email or call.

You can be criminally charged for nearly anything but I doubt that an Assistant District Attorney would accept the charge as a "private criminal complaint." If it were brought by a police officer a lot depends on the Magisterial District Judge. Most, I think, would simply throw the case out.
