Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Pennsylvania
Do I have a ligitimate case?
I work in an office setting. We are two different offices (companies)that 1 1/2 yrs ago combined into one larger company. We work with low income families and one of the requirements for our position are we are to be able to relate to low income families. Our office is very divided(still into two different offices). The employees that came from the company that closed and the employees from the company we were. The people who came to jion us have very hard feelings against our company and have and still make it very well known. My problem is that some of them are in supervisor positions. They (includes my supervisor) bad mouth our company in public, talk trash about our clients (such as how they dress, act, sleep with, things they have heard of, ect.) alot of the ladies in our office know alot of the clients from personal friends, etc.) I don't look at people materialistic, by skin color, etc. And theis really is getting to me hearing them bash people the way they do. I have brought this to the directors attention a month ago. They expressed to me they have the same concerns, and they would handle it. I have that in writting, but stupidly have not wrote down everything. I am now starting to write daily comments down?

Re: Do I have a ligitimate case?
The question is whether you have been discriminated against because of race, color, gender, or religion. The facts you described above do not mention any of these issues. If you do feel that there has been discrimination BASED upon those protected classes, you may have a case. Feel free to contact me directly.
