Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Pennsylvania
sueing for slander etc...
Can a person sue someone for an item of clothing, if the clothing wasn't ripped, torn or otherwise discolored in any way? (it was spit on) The person wants the other to pay for a brand new shirt. I think she is taking this to the extreme. I don't like the person that did the spitting, but that would be ludricrous. A bottle of detergent would have been enough. There was other altercations along with the spitting. That she can go to court with. My son was also involved in a sense that he stood there and did nothing. I think he should have said something. Will he be in trouble too? Cynthia

Re: sueing for slander etc...
Ridiculous. If she sues you then ask the court for summary judgment for a frivolous lawsuit, court costs and attorney fees.
