You asked about discrimination for refusing to wear an employer's uniform.
This isn't a cut and dried area of the law. There are more questions to be asked than just the obvious one. Some of the answers will favor a claim and other answers will disfavor a claim.
You need to find an attorney that doesn't try to get you in the door to get a case but rather find an attorney that will evaluate your claim both good and bad.
Sometimes discrimination is perfectly legitimate when it furthers a legitimate business goal and doesn't unlawfully discriminate against a person in a protected class. Other times discrimination is unlawful and is either made for blatant or hidden unlawful discriminatory reasons.
Call me and we can discuss the particulars of your situation and if I or one of my colleagues may help you.
