Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

if the cops tow my car after a dui and they search the car ....they have to tell me if they find something else in my car, correct? if it is a pill and they dont know what it is they still have to say something right? thank you.

What happened is that they conducted an "inventory search". If made pursuant to a lawful arrest, the police will conduct an inventory search of your car, which is primarily to secure your valuables. It depends on where the pill was found. And they have to "tell you" if they find something--they will "tell you" by filing charges against you.
