driving under a suspencine for a dui

I am trying to find out some information for my son he was cought driving under a suspencine for a dui to work one day and they had sent him a ticket in the mail which was written on and stated he has to have a court date and must bring attorney I had called and they said he has to pled not guilty and send in the money and he probably do 90 days jail time because he was driving under a suspencen which was related to a dui

However, driving while under a DUI related suspension is a 60-90 day mandatory sentence.
