Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

DUI Arraignment

What is the mimimum and maximum penalty for a first time dui -no injuries or other vehicles- and a .18. Prelim hearing already waived - I was clearly guilty. The arraignment is Jan 2nd 2008. I have a lawyer but not confident about it.

Re: DUI Arraignment

You probably already know the answer to this if your formal arraignment was yesterday, but you can go into ARD. At various times they've had the ARD interviews on the day of the arraignment. If you have any prior offenses of any kind within the past 10 years, though, you will likely go into a program called P.D.Q. and there will be mandatory jail, alternative housing, or house arrest time.

Your lawyer should be advising you about the possible ranges and alternatives.
