Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania

DUI arrest

Three weeks ago I was given a breathalizer, a field sobriety test, and a blood alcohol test, taken to central booking and--I assume--charged with a DUI. My blood alcohol was .139 and this is my first offense. According to the research I did, I--name removed--loose my license for a year(I can apply for a limited license to get back and forth to work), have to spend 48 hours to 6 months in jail, pay a $500 to $5,000 in fines, attend Alcohol Safety School and Drug and Alcohol Treatment. But what happens if the police officer never read my my Miranda Rights? I haven't gotten any formal paperwork in the mail and just learned of my blood alcohol content today. I do have a witness to the fact that the police officer did not read me my rights. I am very scared of what is going to happen as I have never broken the law before nor have I ever been arrested before. I have two children at home with me and I just would like to know what my rights are.

Re: DUI arrest

You probably are eligible for ARD which would negate any jail and reduce your license suspension to 1 month. You need to speak with an attorney. I offer free initial consultations.
