dui expungement
My friend had a DUI four years ago. Can he get this expunged from his record?

Re: dui expungement
If it was an A.R.D. and his period of probation is over and all his fines are paid, probably. If it wasn't A.R.D. then, right now, at least in this County the answer is probably not. The statute governing expungements is ambiguous as is the case law. However, right now, in Allegheny County anyway, most attorneys will tell you that you cannot expunge the records of any conviction unless the case was dismissed.
