Legal Question in DUI Law in Pennsylvania
DUI Pennsylvania
One year ago, my son was arrested for a DUI, and drug paraphernalia. He has yet to appear before a judge in order to face the consequences of his actions. I vaguely remember my attorney mentioning that the court has one year for this to be taken care of, or the charges may possibly be dismissed!?! (He did have what she said was a small amount of marijuana in his system). I know it won't be a jury trial, he will just be appearing before a judge, and may possibly be admitted into the ARD program.

Re: DUI Pennsylvania
It has to come to court within a year of actually being filed. Any delay caused by your son doesn't count. You should consult with an attorney.
