Possible Dui sentencing options
My fiance is currently incarcerated for a DUI. He was turned down for the SIP program for a prior federal offence. What are some possible sentencing options for him. This is his 3rd DUI in 7 yrs.

Each case has to be looked at individually. It depends in part upon Blood Alcohol Content since the 2003 changes but a third DUI in 7 years carries serious consequences even at a minimal level. He should contact a competent attorney as soon as possible to investigate possible defenses and to minimize the adverse consequences. It may be possible to get him into some type of alternative housing or treatment program.
