You have to be fingerprinted as a matter of law. Every case that is filed with an OTN number, yours will start with a "g" most likely, has to have fingerprints associated with it.

How your case is resolved depends on your prior record. If you have never been in trouble, then after a through preliminary hearing where we test the Commonwealth's case against you with a court reporter present to record the officer's testimony, we will meet to discuss whether you should enter the ARD Program or challenge your case in court.

ARD is a program offered in PA for first time, non-violent, non-drug related offenders. There are conditons, but the most important ones for Defendants are that your record is expunged fro employmetn purposes, you are excused from the mandatory 1 year driver's license suspension and the mandatory 2-4 days in jail.
